A resounding applause heralded the end of the outstanding speech delivered by Mrs.Fokanbale James at the 20th World’s business women conference.

Every ear that heard the speech tingled at such an excellently curated masterpiece. Minds were blown away at the depths of wisdom that exuded from every point she made.

Mrs Fokanbale was literally the talk of the town. Her influence and affluence has earned her admiration by millions of women, at home and abroad. Her life was such an impeccable example to her followers. She was one of the reasons the hall was overfilled; We are talking about a woman who has a billion plus followers on Instagram and featured in the Forbes for five years consecutively, as one of the top ten business women in the world.

Mrs Fokanbale of FJ holdings gracefully left the podium amidst the laudable cheers and deafening applause from the audience. She kept a captivating smile plastered on her face and waved back as she approached her seat on the high table.

The MC took advantage of the euphoria of the moment and ushered the audience into another round of DJ expert’s electrifying turntable mastery. The speakers blasted loud music and women took to the dancing floor as they followed the rhythmic beats with different dancing steps. Those who couldn’t dance either chatted heartily with fellow women or excused themselves to use the rest room.

Mrs Gregory and Mrs Grace were among those that left to use the rest room.

“ Did you see how the hall almost collapsed from that applause? Kai! Mrs FJ is a real Gem. I really admire her and wish to be like her, ” Mrs Gregory said while washing her hands.

“ Me too,” Mrs Grace alluded as she applied more powder on her face while smacking her lips together to evenly spread the gloss she had applied.

“ You see, in this life, some people have it easier than others and I think she is in that league…” she continued as she returned her powder kit into her bag and adjusted her dress in front of the mirror.

“I concur with you my friend…I’m sure she does not have up to a quarter of the problems I am facing right now…” Mrs Gregory said and burst into laughter.

Mrs Grace also joined in the laughter and the two women had a good laugh as they headed towards the exit.

Before they got to the door, the door knob turned and to their surprise, the phenomenal Mrs FJ stood, facing them with the same smile she left the podium with.

“ Hello, my women!” She greeted them energetically as she entered and closed the door behind her.

Talk about the devil.

The two women were shocked and wished they could just disappear from that spot. They managed to cover up with sheepish smiles and attempted to hurriedly leave.

However, Mrs FJ calmly stopped them.

“ I would like to speak with both of you and hope you get to understand a crucial thing about life. I overheard your discussions from where I stood outside, and I’m not offended in any way.”

She continued, “… while it is true that some people have it easier than others, which you have rightly said about me, however, the vicissitudes of life are evenly distributed to everyone on earth. I also have my own challenges which I battle with day and night, but no one will know. All people see is how my businesses enormously prosper . My dear women, I don’t have to spell out the thorns God has allowed in my flesh. However, I am grateful for both the thorns and the corn.”

” No matter your situation, never wish to be like anyone whose full story you do not know. God has only given us Jesus Christ as the perfect example we should emulate.”

“Life’s challenges happen to you and they happen to me too. No matter the challenge, our response should be gratitude to God, and neither comparison nor wishing to be like someone whom you think has It better. I hope you understand this and choose to always thank God in every situation, while occupying faithfully with what He has given you. “

Mrs Fokanbale finished talking, still with that smile on her face. After she had hugged them and contacts were exchanged, they parted ways.

The women were very grateful to have heard that brief sermon. They would not have believed someone like her also had her own challenges. How wrong they had been to have believed otherwise.

Nonetheless, the truth of choosing to remain grateful and hopeful in every situation was etched on their hearts.
